The second Supply Chain Finance Community Forum will happen in the Hague, Netherlands, in November 2014. Once again, Adaugeo Media is organising the event, which will be around twice the size of last year's conference. There will be two conference tracks, an information area and even more networking opportunities. We're working with sponsors now and expect to publish the agenda in September.

Over 100 senior executives from banks, consumer goods companies and NGOs attended the Banking Environment Initiative Forum in Hong Kong. The event was organised by Adaugeo Media on behalf of the University of Cambridge. Adaugeo Media ran the first BEI Forum in London in 2012 and, since then, has been working on sponsorship, marketing and event planning for the 2014 event. We're delighted to welcome a new face at Adaugeo Media. From 1st November Adaugeo Media's new office is in Guildhall Yard, right at the heart of the City of London. It's a beautiful Edwardian building and from here we're within yards of several of our FI clients and still only 20 minutes from others in Canary Wharf. Adaugeo Media has been appointed as the delivery partner for the International Supply Chain Finance Community, responsible for all commercial activities and the production of six events per year across Europe as well as four editions of an e-newsletter. The Community brings together 23 business schools from across Europe with corporates, banks and consultancies. The first event is on 27th November at Nyenrode Business University in The Netherlands. Transaction Banking Academy, which became part of Adaugeo Media last year, is working with Financial Gates, publisher of EuroTreasurer, Der Treasurer and CFO Insight, to offer a series of training courses for treasurers and bankers in Frankfurt and London. So, what have we been working on? The Banking Environment Initiative Forum We were delighted to be selected by the University of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership to produce the BEI Forum 2012, a conference for 100 leaders in global banks, corporations and NGOs. We have signed up BNY Mellon, Barclays and Northern Trust as sponsors, so that the university doesn’t need to fund the event from its own resources. It’s a great example of how we work with organisations to produce and monetize thought leadership activity, in this case including web development, e-mail newsletters, a major conference and a digital post-event report. More details at www.beiforum2012.com The Forum for Regulatory Change We worked with our client Capital Markets Consulting to build a global community of bank IT, regulation and risk professionals who wanted to share their experiences and learn from each other. The group has several hundred members and continues to grow every day. FRC produces an e-newsletter, and runs webinars and live events for its members. Advertising, sponsorship and events Alongside our thought leadership activity, we’ve also been working with our clients to drive their marketing communications activity, including negotiating a major sponsorship of FIMA, advertising on Finextra and developing media partnerships with titles ranging from Bloomberg New Energy Finance to Management Today. For CMC, we are organising a dinner at Churchill’s War Rooms for 20 key players in financial data Training We’ve both been busy managing and delivering training: Diana launched Transaction Banking Academy four months ago and has already won a significant contract to deliver a global e-learning programme on supply chain finance for Citi. The Academy continues to develop new courses and bring aboard new tutors: for the latest updates, visit www.transactionbankingacademy.com Meanwhile Mike has also been busy training: in September he delivered a two-day course in digital publishing in London for magazine publishers from across Europe on behalf of FIPP, and over the Summer he’s moderated and tutored on similar topics in Paris (For Marie Claire) and Berlin (for VDZ). Now we’re delighted to bring our training activities back under one roof so that Transaction Banking Academy becomes an Adaugeo Media brand, and Mike’s training activities will also be rebranded as Adaugeo Media. We’re looking forward to moving our training expertise into new areas through alliances we’re working on as we type – more news soon. Sales: AdMonsters Earlier this year, we were hired by AdMonsters.com, the global community for digital advertising professionals, to run webinars on their behalf. Now we can announce that we have also been retained to run sponsorship sales for AdMonsters in the EMEA region. We will be at AdMonsters Screens in London on 19th November and we are already working on behalf of AdMonsters with companies such as Google, Visual DNA and VideoPlaza. Those of you who are already working with us know that we’ve been nomadic over the summer, shuttling between clients in Clerkenwell, Cambridge and Docklands. Right now we send a lot of our time in Canary Wharf, but we’re about to put down more permanent roots as well as hiring more staff. We’d love to hear from interesting people with backgrounds in sales, event management or marketing who might want to work with us on these projects and others we’ll be announcing over the coming months.
