The Working Capital Forum, launched by Adaugeo Media in 2014 as a networking group for treasurers and procurement directors, is going global this Autumn with events in New York and Stockholm. The US and Swedish dates, sponsored by Basware, are the first time the Working Capital Forum has travelled outside of the UK.
In total, Basware is sponsoring three events, with the first at The Ritz in London on 19th September, the second at New York's Soho Grand (above) on 26th October and the third at the Berns hotel in Stockholm on 8th November. The Working capital Forum now connects more than a thousand senior treasury and procurement leaders in multinational corporations. Members attend private round-table lunches, held under the Chatham House Rule to encourage open discussion between peers.

Tutors from Adaugeo Media's Transaction Banking Academy were lucky enough to spend a week at Campus BBVA in Madrid (above), delivering the sixth annual Treasury and Working Capital course for a group of BBVA team members from around the world. Above are (l-r) David Kelin, Diana Henderson and Jacco de Jong
The five-day course covered every aspect of transaction banking, including the fundamentals of regulation for transaction bankers, which was delivered as five online modules for the first time through Transaction Banking Academy's new learning portal. The course is led by three Transaction Banking Academy tutors and includes workshops, case studies and project work based around a realistic treasury RFP from a 'virtual company' created especially for this course. |
